Looks good, love the colors.

Some recommendations/pointers:

  • I can't grab junk that ends up above me, and map makes it so it can get stuck above me.
  • What is an "arch"? Maybe use full word if I'm not told what it is ahead of time.
  • Spawn junk continuously! Spending junk just to spawn more means it's 1 step back for every 2 steps forward if I want to save up, I didn't find that very rewarding in the game loop, and would be a big concern in a more long term version of the game.
  • Put hotkeys near each other,  X and N is a weird jump?

Things I found done well:

  • Game feels greats, player movement is responsive.
  • The art feels unique and cool!
  • The sounds are well polished and create a very aquarium-like vibe.

Thank you!!! Your sincere advice made me think about some details; the points you mentioned above are also areas where I hesitated when designing the game.

  •   I also don't know why the trash is on top, making it hard to pick up, very strange;
  •  'Arch' means the printed new ocean 4D architecture; Hmm, if I develop this game long-term, I will write it in full because this is just a demo, haha; mainly because the word 'Architecture' is too long, it doesn't look good on my UI panel, so I abbreviated it;
  • Regarding the game loop, the original idea was to simply convert as much garbage as possible into energy and materials to print things. In fact, the amount of trash decreases in the game if you play further, but the rewards in the game are not very prominent. I hope the game pros can provide suggestions.
  • Regarding hotkeys, I originally wanted to use the spacebar, but for the sake of a clean and beautiful interface, I used letters like X and N instead. Next time, I will improve the interaction method!

Maybe 'build' instead of 'arch'?

Nothing wrong with X and N, they're just too far apart and other hand already has to use arrow keys, maybe X and Z next time?
